All the things we high achievers do, from people pleasing to burning out to overworking to chasing achievements to feeling guilt over saying no to perfectionism to living life inauthentically to no balance... comes down to one big thing: We spend so much time worrying what people think and lose ourselves. You can have it all in this life, you busy high achiever - BUT you have to start by cutting out the nonsense with putting everyone above YOU.
So, now that we are a month into 2022: Let me ask you: Are you struggling to stick to a self-care routine or any routine for that matter? Is it a month into the new year and you are OVER your goals?
A good way to stick to a habit is simply to focus on one thing at a time…. And do that thing first. SO, I recommend for any person starting a new habit, get it done straight away.

Now, high achievers thrive off of external validation - they need to be told they are doing okay. However, they don’t celebrate their high achievements. Stop thriving off other peoples validation and thriving off your own validation.

Overachievers kick ass at life. What they don’t kick ass at is taking care of themselves. They also are not really happy. So, what do overachievers REALLY want? They want to be successful, to be happy, to be famous, to be rewarded, to be esteemed, to be busy.
